Joined Rap in 1999
I was the proud recipient of an Excellence in Customer Service award during my time at NatWest, when customer service was king. I have brought this attitude and dedication into Rap and I teach my staff to have this same passion. I have a qualification in Design, and started by setting up my own florist company. After that I worked in Art and creating home interior artwork.
Working with colour and finishes has helped me develop the Design team at Rap and I now insist on only employing architects who understand the art of creativity. I am also involved in all aspects of marketing and business growth. Five years ago I made the decision to grow the Furniture side of the company to provide a turnkey solution for clients from design to fit out to furniture.
What you bring to the team:
I’m never afraid to take a risk and try new things. You can learn from mistakes but if you never try you will never grow. I think I bring a degree of madness (in a good way!) to the company and we have a lot of fun in our office while still dedicating ourselves to great service. I think that, as a result of this, we all pride ourselves on being reliable and committed to each other and to our clients.
Your favourite thing about working at Rap:
I love that clients are inspired by our designs and when I see the completed projects I am proud as punch! We have a great company and attract fantastic staff. Every client is different so every day brings new and exciting enquiries, which allow me to be involved in creating amazing places to work.
Favourite Rap project:
There have been so many amazing projects that I just can’t choose – in all honesty I love a fresh challenge so I’d have to say that my favourite project is… the next one!
