About the Role

Rap Interiors is a successful, Kent-based creative design and refurbishment contractor that covers the South East. Due to a busy project workload and forward order book, we are looking for a project manager to join our expanding team at the Maidstone HQ.

As project manager, you will take full operational and commercial ownership of the project. Duties include:

– Procurement of materials

– Organisation of subcontractors

– Project Programming

– Cost management

– Site set up with the help of our internal health and safety manager

– Elements of admin work, including ordering materials and raising invoices

Once the project is underway, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the on-site team on multiple projects at once. As you will be working with the surveying, estimating and design teams, good communications throughout will be essential.

Knowledge of JCT and design and build contracts would be beneficial but not essential as training and personal development is encouraged within Rap.

Our projects are normally based throughout the South East; however, we do work nationwide so travel to projects further afield may be required.

Due to the busy nature of the role, working hours may vary.

It would be great if the applicant lived within 20 miles of Kent HQ office so travelling to and from the office isn’t too time detrimental.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to company vehicle insurance restrictions, applicants must be aged 25 or over.

PLEASE NOTE: We will not be accepting calls from recruitment agents for this role.
