We are proud to be in partnership with Concept Cubicles Systems who have developed an Emergency ITU Bay System to help the NHS, who are facing an increasing number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 here in the UK.
In line with the current demand to quickly and efficiently set up temporary hospitals, like the NHS Nightingale opening next week in the London ExCel, we can support the NHS with this medical solution for the critical care of their patients suffering with coronavirus.
The Emergency ITU Systems have been designed and manufactured to the latest HBN and HTM guidelines and have been tried and tested to EN438 standards with the following qualities:
Bedhead trunking is also available to be set up as an optional extra if required.
As more temporary hospitals are being set up in the UK to support the strain on the services of the NHS, temporary hospital cubicles are going to be needed and this is where the solution of the ITU bay systems are going to be utilised best.
These emergency care medical bays provide not only a comfort to patients, due to the full-height panels and curtains allowing full privacy, but they also provide an ease to the NHS workers. In between the units, the bay system utilises the void areas to allow access to services from both sides, so there is minimal disruption to COVID-19 patients and the NSH staff.
The design of the bed bay cubicles have been designed according to medical guidelines. Hinges and joints have been seamlessly integrated as well as screws being counter sunk into the panels for the most hygienic design. This allows for easy and maintenance. especially within the ICU areas.
