BITA Ambassador John Fitzgerald recently asked Rap Interiors director Julie Anderson to share her thoughts on the current management buyout that is taking place at the business. Julie was proud to have been interviewed by BITA (British and Irish Trade Alliance) – a business networking organisation Rap Interiors are members of.

Many business owners come to a point when they want to enjoy part two of their lives, and no better time than when two family members want to take over the company. Martyn and Parry have been in “training” now for four years and the Rap team is behind them in taking the business forward.

Discussing the four-year sprint, Julie explains some of the hurdles she has personally overcome, things she would have done differently, and what her and Rick are looking forward to.

Rick and Julie will both remain on the Rap Interiors board to offer support and guidance to the whole team – but they suspect they will be busy on other ventures as well! This will ensure the company’s exemplary standards of delivering cutting-edge workplace designs and fit outs will continue, meaning clients have nothing to fear!

In the online video, Julie is joined by Martin Mockler (Partner at Evans Mockler) and Chris Harding (Business Transformation Expert), both of whom are hugely experienced in business takeover management. There is a wealth of knowledge to learn from the interview, and if there is anything you would like to ask the panel please refer to the LinkedIn video post, where you will find links to the speakers’ channels.
