Rap Interiors Exhibit at Kent Construction Expo 2023

The South East’s leading event for the construction industry returned to the Kent Event Centre in Detling on October 5^th 2023 for a day designed to bring those within the sector together and exhibit. The one-day event attracts over 2,000 visitors, so our team were kept busy making new connections, attending informative speeches and of course partaking in one or two games on stands.

The Stand

This year we decided to go bigger and better with the design of our stand to truly showcase what it is that Rap Interiors does. From initial interior designs, through to the creation of spaces and procurement of commercial grade furniture, our team bring their individual ideas and experiences together to deliver projects that exceed our client’s expectations. Our stand gave visitors a flavour of those projects and the high quality fit out service Rap Interiors provide their clients.

We were very generously supported in achieving this by working closely with some of our key suppliers to produce our fantastic stand.  Innerspace Cheshire manufactured our branded living wall, as well as the structural walls including the peg board display. We were fortunate enough to showcase Orn’s beautiful furniture, including the brand new Kobel bench which was designed and launched specifically for our stand, which sat alongside a collaboration table from the same furniture family.  To complete our stand and really lift the experience into the calming and inviting one, we used Modulyss’ Leaf and Grind floor tiles.

A big thank you goes to our suppliers for their generosity and support- we were very pleased with the finished space.

Be In It to Win It

Most exhibitors opt to have an attraction on their stand, and it’s safe to say that our bespoke ‘RAP’ buzz wire game didn’t disappoint the attendees. Our visitors were keen to partake and test their steady hands to be in with a chance of winning one of our irresistible prizes.  Concentration and determination was rife, with only a select few managing to complete the game. All those that successfully completed the course were entered into our prize draw.

Congratulations goes to Emma Stafford, from Prime Consultancy, for winning first prize! She will be enjoying a wine tasting tour at Mereworth Winery and a Legendary Box of Thomas Cookie’s delicious treats.

A further congratulations goes to Robin Smith, from GMX, who was our runner-up and received a Legendary Box of Thomas Cookie’s cookies.

A Fantastic Day

The Rap Interiors team had a fantastic day filled with quality conversations, making new contacts and reconnecting with existing friends and colleagues.  The cookies we had on offer went down a storm, including the left overs that needed eating back in the office!  The feedback we received from our visitors was wonderful to hear, and we were pleased to have made a memorable impression.

The event was concluded by the Gala Dinner where networking continued and we had the pleasure to host some valued clients for the evening.
