2018 has been another great year for Rap Interiors, with plenty of exciting projects keeping us busy! With so many highlights, we’ve collated a list of our favourites to give you ideas for your own interior transformation. From a high end visitor attraction fit out to a modern and minimalist office refurbishment, here are four of the best…

Simpsons Wine Estate | Visitor Attraction Design and Fit Out

Completed in early 2018, the Simpsons Wine Estate project entailed turning a disused mezzanine floor into a modern visitor attraction. This included the creation of a meet and greet area, office space and wine tasting facility.

While the project has a multitude of impressive features, the most striking are arguably the helter skelter slide, bespoke wine bar and luxurious lounge area. Our office interior designers also made a great job of transforming the first floor into a functional workplace by introducing glass fronted meeting rooms, decorations and a range of modern furniture.

Haringey Sixth Form College | Breakout Area / Classroom Refurbishment

Like Simpsons Wine, the Haringey Sixth Form College refurbishment was an aesthetically satisfying project. The works involved creating an inspirational learning environment by introducing a modern ICT suite, breakout area and bistro.

To create a fun and striking ICT suite, we laid imitation grass floors, printed the school’s logo on the walls and installed a bespoke imitation sky ceiling raft. For the breakout area design, we furnished the space with dining benches and booths, introduced v-flap ceiling acoustic panels and fitted new thunderbolt liner lights. To finish, the serving area was transformed with a Nelson Mandela wall graphic, ornamental panels and spotlights.

With the Tottenham area going through a regeneration, we are proud to have played a part in the evolution. We are also heartened by the fact that the new learning facility, called the ‘Innovation Centre’, will help local students to gain the skills and experience they need to enjoy a successful future.

Prep World | Office Refurbishment

Prep World is a prepared fruit supplier based in Gravesend. The company contacted us to convert an underutilised space into a functional and inviting office.

To fulfill the client’s remit, our office interior designers suggested introducing a simple yet effective aesthetic. This included white and orange walls for a calming colour scheme, decorative images of fruit and a new breakout space. Additionally, Rap built and furnished a new meeting room to improve communication within the company.

With the new office facility in place, day-to-day working practices will undoubtedly improve at Prep World. The works will therefore allow the company to build on its success in the fruit supply industry.

CooperVision | Breakout Area Refurbishment

CooperVision is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of soft contact lenses and lens care products. The company got in touch with us to take on its breakout area refurbishment project, which entailed transforming a dilapidated former laboratory.

To create the hospitable space the company required, we introduced a number of new features, including dining benches, a new kitchen unit, high and low level breakfast bars, vinyl wall graphics, new lighting solutions and a bright colour scheme. The project also entailed creating two locker rooms, which required Rap’s skilled tradesmen to build two solid partition walls.

Within a six week time frame, we created an inviting and durable breakout area for the employees at CooperVision. The facility will enable employees to re-energise during breaks and is another example of CooperVision’s commitment to staff welfare.
