Rap Interiors Take a Trip Down Memory Lane for Office Christmas Party

Its Fairgame (read on to realise the pun!) to say that the Rap team had a whale of a time and a nostalgic trip down memory lane on our office Christmas Party this year. The team headed to Canary Wharf, London for a fun filled day to kick start the festivities for Christmas 2024.

First Stop

The fresh, bright, crisp weather couldn’t be more perfect to spend the day in London and particularly by the water at Canary Wharf. Everyone met at the fantastic Argentinian steak restaurant, Gaucho, to enjoy a delicious lunch with a picturesque view across the Thames.  A couple bottles of sparkling wine and a few cocktails with our lunch got the merriments started.

Next Stop

We later headed over to Fairgame to take a nostalgic trip down memory lane, returning to our childhoods to play some iconic fairground games combined with the latest tech. This memorable venue brings all the fun and vibrancy with the opportunity to play Whack-A-Mole, Roll-A-Ball Derby, Clown-Shoot and Skeeball to name a few.

Everyone’s competitive side came out, particularly with the girls wanting to beat the boys. However, with a group leader board and our personal digital cards keeping track of our scores, it was clear to see who had a good aim and those who didn’t! Congratulations to Gavin, our estimator, who made it to the top of the leaderboard! Did it have something to do with him being a scout leader?

Needless to say a few more cocktails were sampled here too!

Last Stop

We finished the night off at the Alchemist Cocktail Bar and Restaurant. Can you notice a theme developing here? The Alchemist creates an experience to remember with their molecular mixology approach to creating unique cocktails with a twist. Each cocktail is presented at your table with drama and theatricality. The rubber tongue with popping candy was certainly a talking point!

Our design and fit out team had a fun filled day to remember, with huge thanks to Martyn and Parry and the staff at each venue for making us feel so welcome and creating such a memorable experience. If you’re ever in Canary Wharf be sure to stop by these places and sample a cocktail or two!
