As another busy and exciting year has come to an end and 2024 begins, we reflect on the inspirational workplace design and interior fit out projects our team has completed.  With too many highlights to mention we have narrowed it down to our favourite four projects from the year, to bring some inspiration and motivation for your own workspace transformation project.

Albion Fine Foods relocated their warehouse and offices from Tonbridge to a brand-new industrial unit in Dartford. They approached Rap Interiors with a design for their industrial fit out and required the expertise of our interior designers and project managers to develop their existing layout, and execute the works within their new premises, whilst also meeting their budget.

Albion Fine Foods sought a bright, fresh and modern space for their staff to work in, including a large open plan office on the first floor as well as an extensive open plan dining and breakout space for staff to utilise in their breaks.

The staff at Albion Fine Foods have a fresh, modern, and communal breakout space to relax in during downtimes. Clean washrooms with ample lockers support the needs of those within the warehouse side of their operation whilst the meeting rooms and commercial kitchen promise their visitors an experience to enjoy and remember. The fit out Rap Interiors has provided made their brand-new warehouse not only functional, but inviting for their employees and clients alike.  The interior design and choice of furniture echo the natural elements seen in the external environment whilst using pops of colour to reflect the corporate branding.  Staff are provided with a flexible workspace design that will support all ways of working.  The project was delivered successfully and within the client’s intended budget and timeframe.

Hudl were an existing client of Rap Interiors after they appointed our team to complete their initial London office fit out in 2017. The client wanted to work with Rap Interiors again to implement their new high-end office interior design scheme to refresh their workspace and entice staff back into the office following the impacts of Covid. Hudl also required an additional meeting space as well as a new layout to accommodate more desking and free-standing booths.

Hudl now have inspiring, inviting and motivational office spaces full of exquisite design details and high spec finishes that have been executed to an exemplary standard. The Hudl team have a flexible workspace offering various options for staff to utilise according to their individual preferences and needs.  This unique project has a strong identity that ties back to the company’s culture and ethos, reflecting their industry throughout.  The workspace design is now refreshed with a new on trend feel that will attract the work force back to the office to enjoy their working week.

GW Highways is one of the largest self-delivery contractors in the South East, providing all aspects of highway maintenance and civil engineering.

GW Highways approached Rap Interiors with an office refurbishment project for their new offices in Kings Hill, Kent.  Having seen some of our recent office design and fit out projects, the client was inspired to incorporate modern working practices and create an inviting open office space.

GW Highways’ workspace is now a bright, modern, fresh space that is inviting, motivating and functional for their team of employees to utilise.  The branded entrance clearly communicates the company’s identity which is continued throughout the office design with blue finishes and company logo manifestations.

Ward Security, The Historic Dockyard Chatham

The year was concluded with our office interior design project becoming a finished workspace for Ward Security at the Historic Dockyard Chatham.  Ward is a leading security specialist, delivering security strategies, solutions and services to businesses across the UK.

Ward Security contacted Rap Interiors in need of an office interior design scheme for their new offices.  The client wanted a modern aesthetic which also embraced and enhanced the historic architectural features of the building.  The design project included a range of spaces on two floors; a large open plan office with a reception area and waiting space, a boardroom, meeting rooms, teapoints, washrooms and a versatile breakout space.

Our office interior design scheme was brought to life by the Chatham Maritime Trust, providing Ward Security with a modern office space embracing the character and age of the building through the use of heritage colours and foliage throughout.  These features are combined with pops of pink, complimenting the green colour palette seen in the wall panelling and furniture finishes. Modern office furniture solutions allow the workforce to utilise their work spaces whilst enhancing the overall aesthetic of each area.  Ward Security now have modern, attractive offices that also offer the option of an impressive entertainment space whilst keeping the architectural features of the building as a key attribute of the space.
