To make the space more comfortable, our London interior designers chose a diverse range of furniture with a fun yet high-end look. They also used their years of space planning experience to arrange the furniture in an intelligent, practical way.
With a kitchen already installed, our designers felt that the area’s configuration lent itself to a poseur dining table, which was designed with a grey interior to match the flooring. They also introduced 16 stools to accompany the table, and these were upholstered in orange and yellow material to accent the arrangement with pops of colour.
Next to the kitchen, the designers introduced a corner modular sofa where the teachers could unwind with a coffee. With its accompanying swivel chairs and coffee tables, the seating area contributes to the relaxing environment Salisbury wanted to achieve.
Our designers also suggested implementing a two-person picnic table, which Salisbury agreed would encourage teachers to relax by ‘bringing the outside in’. For an added touch of comfort, the table is designed to allow people to sit with their feet facing forward to the side.
The last additions to the suite were four blue sofas with bespoke yellow buttons. With their accompanying steel bottom coffee tables, these add to the atmosphere of calm and provide another place where teachers can chat with one another – a sure-fire way to boost morale.
