For the boardroom design, Rap introduced a glass front with bespoke manifestation; a feature wall with the company logo and motto; and yellow chairs reflecting the company branding colours. This design scheme was also used for the sales office and Director’s office, creating a uniform look throughout the space.
The breakout area/kitchen was also an important aspect of the design for Balreed, who wanted to provide an inviting space for employees to eat and re-energise. To achieve this, Rap Interiors installed a tea point/food prep area, introduced dining furniture, and decorated the space with a yellow colour scheme.
Additionally, Rap created an open meeting area using two full height glass partitions; introduced plant displays and company wall signage; and re-carpeted the floors with a corporate grey design.
As a result of intelligent space planning and strong communication with the client, Rap’s interior designers from Kent were able to transform the office space. The design scheme helped to create a sense of company identity, while the creation of the rooms improved Balreed’s day-to-day working practices.
