To create the sustainability theme in the reception area, our office interior designers introduced a bespoke feature wall made out of natural materials. With its charred timber, moss and integrated company logo, the wall makes for a striking feature that represents eco-friendliness. So too does the accompanying desk, which compliments the wall perfectly with its slatted-timber design.
To make the space more inviting and hospitable, we also introduced a small waiting area in the corner of the reception. This included a wall made out of timber slats (a continuation of the reception desk design), carpet with a fitting green colour scheme, and soft seating for guests to relax while waiting.
The timber slats also proved key in reducing noise pollution due to their sound-absorbing properties, and to further improve the acoustics, our office designers introduced new carpet on the stairs to soften harsh sounds created by footsteps.
For the boardroom design, we worked closely with Chartway to achieve the desired look and function of the space. Among the key features was a combined raft ceiling/wall with acoustic properties to enable confidential exchanges with clients and executives. We also introduced a presentation screen within the wall’s slats, leather seats, strip lighting, a collaboration desk with integrated power, new carpet and a drinks fridge to finish things off!
