Workplace Design Brief

Upon contacting us, Ignition Creative were in the process of obtaining a floor below its existing London office space. The creative agency’s vision for the new space was to create multiple production suites, which would enable it to expand its operations and boost productivity.

Further to this part of the brief, Ignition required a main open plan office area which would double up as a reception, a space for video conferencing and a meeting room for creative collaboration.

Our London Interior Design Solution

In preparation for the office fit out, we were required to conduct dilapidation work to the new floor. The previous occupier had installed a glass office and meeting room in the middle of the room, which we removed to bring the area back to its original state. We also carried out work to the power, data, air conditioning, corridor lighting, flooring, joinery and server room to allow Ignition Creative to carry on operations as soon as they moved in.

For the production suites and video conferencing room, we installed new ventilation systems to create a safe environment for employees and adhere to stringent health and safety regulations. We also laid new cloud-effect carpet to “bring the outside in”, refreshed the decorations and installed soundproof doors to reduce noise pollution – just as we did for the striking “Michael Caine” meeting room.

Finally, for the main open plan office space, we made floorbox alterations to configure the desks in Ignition Creative’s preferred layout and introduced a striking new reception desk. With its printed company branding, the desk serves as an eye-catching and inviting focal point to visitors coming into the office.

The Results

With the help of Rap’s office interior designers and project team, Ignition Creative now has a space suitable to boost in-house operations and grow its brand across international markets. The production suites, office and collaboration area ensure the office is geared for creativity, giving the creative agency everything it needs to achieve its future objectives.
