Project Overview

St Andrews School contacted us to refurbish an art classroom which had become tired and disorderly after years of use. With little storage space, much of the art room was occupied by clutter.

Given the state of the space, St Andrews requested multiple new storage solutions and a fun, colourful aesthetic to appeal to the students.

Our Interior Fit Out Solution

In order to solve St Andrew’s space issue, we installed storage units around the perimeter of the classroom. The units are low level for student accessibility and include a locking system to ensure the books and paperwork are kept tidy. Furthermore, we introduced a pink, green and orange colour scheme for a vibrant and fun aesthetic.

In addition to the low-level cupboards, we implemented a large storage wall with a beach finish. Next to this, we installed a bespoke bookcase which had to be the appropriate size and shape to fit in the slanted corner created by the roof eaves.

Other key features of the new design include wipeable flooring, pin boards for display purposes and new paintwork throughout. We also installed another sink unit to avoid overcrowding in that area during lessons.
