To upgrade the catering facilities, we began by stripping out the old kitchen. In its place, we installed a bespoke u-shaped worktop area using specialist joinery. Key features of the kitchen include an integrated breakfast bar with stools, high and low level cabinetry, and an electric tap for instant chilled and boiling water. We also extended the bar to include more space.
Next to the kitchen, we introduced a number of new elements to create an inviting central dining space. These included new easy-to-clean vinyl flooring, a luxurious cloud-themed carpet, new stackable chairs and round dining tables for a practical and stylish design.
Within the staff room, we configured the space to include a small breakout space. With its comfortable modular sofa, coffee table and new TV screen, the breakout area allows staff to relax and reboot in between lessons, making it an essential part of the staff room.
Other key features of the design include a newly built entrance area with a soundproof door, LED baton lights, blinds, and a high-level wall to hide the power from the kitchen.
